Kinda funny story
Don't know why but this just popped in my head & thought i'd share.
Bout 15 years ago i had an AK i wanted to sell & this guy calls me up & says he's really interested but dosen't have a vehicle and could i bring the rifle to his house for him. I say sure & get directions then im on my way. So an hour and 15 minutes later i finally find this guys house & proceed to drag all the stuff in with me ( rifle, case, 12 mags, & 1000rds ) expecting a quick sell of the rifle. Remember this guys really interested & i just drove over an hour expecting this guy to buy. So im in his house and he's looking it over. He looks down the barrel & immediately says what kinda crap am i trying to sell him. I say what the hell are you talking about. He says there is a hole in the barrel & im trying to screw him over. I ( LOL ) then proceed in telling him how the rifle operates and that the gas is vented back to cycle the weapon. Well he thought he was some kinda gun guru and didn't believe me. I even disassembled the rifle to show how it worked and he still wouldnt believe me. I cursed that stupid fu**er all the way home. |
Re: Kinda funny story
You're way more accommodating than I would have been - I'd be afraid I was being set up for a robbery.
Lead pipe to the back of the head or a shiv between the ribs... Your gun now has a new owner. I hope you found a non-dumbass buyer? |
Re: Kinda funny story
You know I never thought about that. I was pretty young at the time and trusted most people.
These days I trust no one....not even my family. On the way home I thought maybe the guy changed his mind and didnt want to buy. If that was the case he should of said something like.......It's not exactly what I wanted but I appreciate you bringing the rifle for me to see and let me pay for your gas that you used. That I would understand even if he didnt offer to pay for gas but this guy thought he knew it all and couldn't accept the fact that he was wrong. Yes the AK went to a good home...........Mine And I still have that rifle............ |
